Josh Miner joined the Belmont men's soccer program in the spring of 2020 through Team IMPACT, who helps partner college athletic teams with children facing illnesses through a therapeutic program that compliments their medical treatments. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Miner did not officially sign his Letter of Intent with the Bruins until Feb. 19 via Zoom.

Head coach David Costa on Miner: "It is interesting, one of the things we look at in our recruiting process is quality of perseverance and continuing to watch (Josh) persevere over his recruitment has been amazing. We always look for 'Belmont' guys, people who do things for other people besides themselves, and I think (Josh) fits that mold. I am proud that (Josh) is the type of guy that wants to fill lasting relationaships with people, and I think he has done that at Belmont."

Miner on Belmont: "I could not be more excited to join Belmont and I cannot thank anyone enough for what they have done for my family and me. Every single one of these guys has the most outstanding character and brings positive energy. They never do things for themselves; they always do it for the person next to them. No matter what, I will always be a part of the Belmont family."

Personal: Lists his favorite memory with the team as watching a Belmont basketball game pre-pandemic ... Enjoyed attending men's soccer training and matches in 2019 and the spring of 2020 ...
