Melody Stewart returns for her second season as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Belmont.  She will be working with the volleyball and men's and women's track & field programs, after serving as point of contact for Bruin volleyball in 2016-17.

Prior to coming to Belmont, Melody served as a student trainer with several entities in the Cincinnati area: Northern Kentucky University, Moeller High School and with Wellington Sports Medicine. 

Stewart is a 2016 Northern Kentucky University graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in athletic training.  While at NKU, she was a member of the school’s volleyball team for four seasons and served as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. 

She is currently working on her master's degree in Belmont's sports administration program.

Melody resides in Nashville.
