NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont Bruins (3-22-0, 0-1-0) opened conference play on Friday against USC Upstate (18-4-0, 1-0-0). In the first game of a double header, the Bruins fell behind early to the Spartans and were defeated by a score of 7-2.
