NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Belmont volleyball team returns home to take on Florida Gulf Coast in the final non-conference match of the season. First serve is set for 2 p.m. in the Curb Event Center.

The Bruins (6-10) will meet the Eagles (2-10) for the sixth time. FGCU leads the all-time series 1-4. The last two meetings between the two programs have each gone to five sets. The two teams were picked to finish second (FGCU) and third (Belmont) in the Atlantic Sun Preseason Coaches' Poll.

Belmont is coming off a loss at Western Kentucky while FGCU fell to Florida Atlantic in their last match. Saturday's meeting will be the fourth in the Curb Event Center, where Belmont won its only match of the series. The Bruins will face the Eagles in a conference match in November on the road at Fort Myers.

Saturday begins a three match home stand for Belmont. The Bruins will host Kennesaw State next Friday, Oct. 1st, and Mercer next Saturday, Oct. 2nd to open conference play. Belmont will play six home matches in October before going on the road for the month of November. First serve for next Friday's match is 6:30 p.m. while the Saturday match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
