OXFORD, Ohio - - Belmont men's basketball continues a busy stretch of games Saturday at Miami (OH).
Belmont defeated Troy, 78-55, Thursday night to extend its home court win streak to 21 games. Senior Drew Hanlen led three Bruins in double figures with 15 points. Junior Ian Clark went over 1,000 points for his career, becoming the second-fastest player in Belmont's NCAA era to reach the scoring milestone.
The Bruins also went 14-for-30 from three-point distance against Troy, one shy of their season-best of 15 treys against Kennesaw State.
Saturday will serve as a homecoming game of sorts for redshirt junior Brandon Baker, who grew up in nearby Milford, Ohio.
Belmont defeated Miami (OH), 83-72, last year in Nashville in the only other prior series meeting.
