Men's Tennis Falls to Chattanooga 7-0

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team fell to Chattanooga 7-0 in a match played Friday afternoon on the UTC campus in Chattanooga.

The Mocs won the first point of the match as they took two of three doubles matches.  The BU duo of Bruno Silva and Felipe Cirne Lima did win at the number two position over Jackson Tresan and Stephen Crofford 8-2.  In singles, Chattanooga swept all six singles matches to clinch the 7-0 victory.

Belmont (0-2) is back in action tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) as they host Xavier at 12:00 noon at the Centennial Sportsplex.
