NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team fell to visiting North Florida 6-1 in an Atlantic Sun Conference match held Saturday at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville.
In singles, the Ospreys won five of the six singles matches. The lone Belmont victory came at the number one position as Rodrigo Amaral defeated Daniel Sotomarino in three sets: 3-6, 6-3, 10-8.
UNF continued their strong play in doubles as they won two of three matches to clinch the 6-1 win over the Bruins. The lone BU win in doubles came at the number one position as Rodrigo Amaral and Rafael Matos defeated Anton Rabinov and Beauregard Treyz 8-5.
Belmont (0-10, 0-7) returns to action this Friday, April 1 as they travel to Campbell for a 1:00pm CT match.
