Women's Tennis Falls on the Road to Campbell 6-1

BUIES CREEK, N. C. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to host Campbell 6-1 in an Atlantic Sun Conference match held Friday in Buies Creek, North Carolina.

The Lady Camels picked up the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches.

In singles, Campbell won five of the six matches to clinch the 6-1 match victory.  The lone win for Belmont came at number six as Laura Stack beat Anais Gomar 7-6, 1-6, 11-9.

Belmont (5-12, 1-7) returns to the court Saturday afternoon as they play at USC Upstate at 1:00pm CT.
