Men's Basketball Resumes Conference Play at North Florida Monday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - - Belmont men's basketball returns to Atlantic Sun Conference play Monday at North Florida.

Belmont forced 16 turnovers and grabbed 16 offensive rebounds in defeating Marshall, 79-74, Dec. 29. Senior Scott Saunders continued his fine play with a season-high tying 23 points and nine rebounds in the victory.

Belmont junior Ian Clark scored a career-high 31 points vs. North Florida (2/11/10) and Belmont senior Mick Hedgepeth scored a career-high tying 23 points vs. North Florida (3/5/11).

Belmont and North Florida did not have a common opponent in the non-conference. Yet in the latest Jeff Sagarin ratings, Belmont and North Florida have played a combined 11 games against Top 50 opponents.
