JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - - Belmont men's basketball concludes a two-game road swing Monday at ETSU.
Belmont dropped a 79-78 decision Jan. 21 at USC Upstate. The Bruins trailed just 21 seconds during the game - 20 seconds at 3-2 and then on the final sequence as Torrey Craig's offensive rebound putback with 0.7 seconds left gave the Spartans the victory.
Junior Kerron Johnson (Huntsville, Ala.) had 18 points and eight assists for the Bruins.
Belmont and ETSU have been the lone representatives of the Atlantic Sun Conference in the NCAA Tournament the last six years.
Belmont is 6-1 in games at ETSU in Atlantic Sun Conference play.
Junior Ian Clark (Memphis, Tenn.) is averaging 16.3 points per game in four career games against ETSU.
