LOUISVILLE, Ky . – The Belmont men's tennis team fell to #35 Louisville 6-1 in a match played Saturday morning at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville.
Louisville (5-4) picked up the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches. In singles, the Cardinals won five of the six matches to clinch the 6-1 victory. The lone Belmont win came at number one singles as Renato Antun defeated Andrew Carter 6-4, 6-2.
Belmont (1-3) returns to action next weekend as they play at UNC-Greensboro on Friday , February 24th and at Appalachian State on Sunday, February 26th.
