NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Belmont men's tennis defeated Tennessee Tech 6-1 in a non-conference match played Wednesday at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville.
Belmont won the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches. In singles, the Bruins continued their strong play as they won five of six matches to clinch the victory over the Golden Eagles. Renato Antun, Henrique Norbiato, Rodrigo Amaral, Fernando Mussolini, and Bruno Silva all picked up singles wins on Wednnesday afternoon.
The men's tennis team is back in action tomorrow afternoon as they play at MTSU. They return home on Saturday as they host their A-Sun opener against rival Lipscomb. Saturday's conference opener will begin at 10:00am at Centennial Sportsplex.
