CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- The Belmont men's tennis team fell to league leader Austin Peay 6-1 in an OVC match played Sunday in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The Governors picked up the first point of the match as they won two of the the doubles matches. BU did get a win at number one doubles as Renato Antun and Henrique Norbiato defeated Sean Bailey and Jasmin Ademovic 8-5.
In singles, APSU posted wins in five of the six matches to clinch the 6-1 victory over Belmont. The lone Bruin win came at number five as Navarro Veys beat John Storie 7-6, 4-6, 10-6.
Belmont (5-13, 4-4) returns to the court on Thursday as they host Tennessee State at 1:00pm at Centennial Sportsplex.
