NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's basketball team looks to extend its win streak to three when it closes its first conference home stand on Monday night.  The Bruins (5-11, 2-1 OVC) host Jacksonville State (4-12, 0-3) beginning at 6 p.m. in the Curb Event Center.

The Gamecocks wrap their trip to Music City on the hunt for their first win in conference play and have lost three of their last four matchups, including a 78-76 overtime loss at Tennessee State on Saturday.  JSU stands at 4-12 overall and 0-3 in the OVC.

Belmont leads the all-time series 5-2 and has won the last two matchups, including a 69-49 rout at JSU one year ago.

BU notched its second consecutive win on Saturday afternoon, defeating in-state rival Tennessee Tech, 62-53, for the first time since the 2008-09 season.  For the first time this season, four Bruins reached double figures.  Luffman led with 12, followed by Carroll and Mills with 11 each.  Tarrence rounded out the group with 10 points.  Joubran pulled down a game-high seven rebounds.  Mills finished with a game-high five steals while Tarrence collected a game-high six assists.
