BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - - Belmont University men's basketball plays at Fairfield Saturday.
Bruins dropped a 78-51 decision at VCU Tuesday. Sophomore Evan Bradds (Jamestown, Ohio) led Belmont with 15 points.
Belmont and Fairfield both took part in the 2013 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Tipoff Tournament. Though they did not face each other, the Bruins and Stags each played against Holy Cross and Richmond.
This marks the second meeting between Belmont and Fairfield. The Bruins won 62-53 in Nashville last January. The game was rescheduled from December after the Stags ran into travel issues due to a northeast snowstorm.
Tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. CT.
