NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to league leader Eastern Kentucky 7-0 in an OVC match played Sunday at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville.
The Colonels took the early 1-0 lead as they won two of three doubles matches, at positions one and three. The match at number three was unfinished since the doubles point was determined.
In singles, EKU swept all six singles matches to clinch the 7-0 victory over the Bruins.
Belmont (3-8, 1-5) is back in action on Wednesday as they play at UT-Martin.
