BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Belmont men's tennis team fell to UAB 7-0 in a non-conference match played Sunday afternoon in Birmingham, Alabama.
UAB picked upt he first point of the match as they captured two of the three doubles matches. Belmont did pick up a win at number one doubles as Mauricio Antun and Marko Lovrinovic beat Lucas Dirube and Donovan McSeveney 8-5.
In singles, the Blazers swept all six singles matches to clinch the 7-0 victory over the visiting Bruins.
Belmont (2-8) is now off for a week. They will be back in action on March 18 as they open conference play at Tennessee State.
