CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Belmont women's tennis team lost to Eastern Illinois 5-1 in their season finale held Sunday afternoon in Charleston, Illinois.
The homestanding Panthers took the doubles point as they posted wins at positions one and three. The match at number was unfinished.
In singles, EIU captured wins at positions one, two, three, and four to clinch the 5-1 match victory over the Bruins. Belmont's lone win came at number five as Ann Lauren Fiepke defeated Kamile Stadalninkaite 6-0, 6-4.
This match ends the season for the women's tennis team. They finished the season with an overall record of 3-12, 1-9 in the OVC.
