Tough Day on the Court

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to MTSU 7-0 in a match played indoors on Friday at the Nashboro Village Club.

The Lady Raiders captured the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches.  Then, later in singles, they posted wins at all six positions to clinch the 7-0 victory over the visiting Bruins.

Belmont (0-2) returns to court next Friday, January 30 as they host their home opener versus Western Kentucky.  The match is set for 5:00pm at the Wildwood Tennis Club in Brentwood.
