BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to ETSU 6-1 in a non-conference match held Saturday evening indoors at the Brentwood Swim and Tennis Center in Brentwood, Tennessee.
The Bucs earned the first point of the match as they posted doubles wins at positions one and three. The match at number two was unfinished.
In singles, ETSU got wins in five of the six positions to clinch the 6-1 victory over the Bruins. The lone BU win came at number three singles as junior Kendall Warren outlasted Melissa Esguerra in three sets: 1-6, 8-6, and 10-5.
Belmont (0-4) is back in action this Friday, February 6 as they host North Alabama at 5:00pm indoors at the Brentwood Swim and Tennis Club.
