Eastern Illinois Game Notes

CHARLESTON, Ill. - -  Belmont University men's basketball plays at Eastern Illinois Saturday afternoon.

The Bruins defeated SIU Edwardsville, 73-69, Wednesday night. Craig Bradshaw (Ridgetop, Tenn.) scored a game-high 26 points while Evan Bradds (Jamestown, Ohio) added 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Belmont's Reece Chamberlain (Goodlettsville, Tenn.) and Eastern Illinois's Cornell Johnston are among the OVC leaders in minutes played.

Belmont and Eastern Illinois are the two least reliant offensive rebounding teams in the OVC.

Belmont freshman Amanze Egekeze is a native of Lake in the Hills, Ill.

This marks the fifth meeting between Belmont and Eastern Illinois. The Bruins have won the previous two meetings, including 82-63 last season in Nashville.
