NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to rival Lipscomb 6-0 in a non-conference match played Tuesday at Lipscomb University in Nashville.
In a match in which only singles were played, the Bruins played hard, taking three of the matches to three sets, but the Lady Bisons responded and posted victories in all six matches to clinch the match victory.
Belmont (3-11) returns to conference play on Saturday as they play at Jacksonville State. The match is set for 10:00am in Jacksonville, Alabama.
