NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Bruins enter the midweek traveling back to Memphis for a mid-week contest.
Last week the Bruins evened the series with the Tigers 1-1 and are looking to pick up the series win on Tuesday at FedExPark.
After the Mid-week contest the Bruins continue their road haul with a trip to Jacksonville, Ala. to face Jacksonville State in a three game OVC Series.
Seniors Matt Beaty and Drew Ferguson continue to lead at the plate for the Bruins batting .383 and .359 respectively. Beaty leads with 59 hits, 17 doubles and 10 home runs. Ferguson leads with 48 runs and 4 doubles with a team high 19 stolen bases.
Patrick McGrath will receive the start on the mound for the Bruins after picking up two wins this past week. His first win of the week cam on Tuesday in the Bruins 3-2 win over #4 Vanderbilt.
The Tigers enter the week after winning the series versus USF in conference play. They extend their record to 25-12 and 7-5 in the ACC.
