CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team saw their two-match win streak nend as they fell to OVC leader Austin Peay 4-1 in a match played Friday indoors in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Due to the threat of storms, the match was moved indoors and singles matches were played first. The Governors posted wins in four of the first five matches to clinch the 4-1 victory.
The lone BU win came at number one as senior Marko Lovrinovic beat Dimitar Ristovski in three sets: 5-7, 6-0, and 6-4.
Belmont (8-9, 3-4) is back in action tomorrow (Saturday) as they host Murray State at 11:00am at Centennial Sportsplex.
