NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Bruins are set to host the Memphis Tigers on Monday at 4PM. This is the first time the Bruins will face the Tigers in the 2015 season.
Starting on the mound for the Bruins is senior lefty, Patrick McGrath (Jackson, Tenn.) who posted a strong midweek performance last week against Lipscomb.
Leading at the plate for the Bruins last week was Drew Ferguson (Knoxville, Tenn.). He batted .550 and was integral in Sunday's extra inning win against SIUE. Ferguson two run home run helped tie the game at 6 apiece and propel the game into extra innings.
After hosting the Tigers on Monday the Bruins will travel to Carbondale to face the Salukis in game two of their home and home series. The Bruins look to take the two game series as they already have a 9-4 Win against SIU from early March.
First pitch against the Salukis is scheduled for 5 PM at Itchy Jones Stadium in Carbondale, Ill.
