CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to Eastern Illinois 4-0 in an OVC match played Tuesday indoors at the Governors Tennis Center in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Because of inclement weather and time constraints, singles matches were played first and the doubles matches were bypassed since the match result was determined in singles play.
In singles, the Panthers posted wins in the first four positions to clinch 4-0 victory over the Bruins.
Belmont (4-14, 1-6) returns to the court on Thursday as they host their home finale with Tennessee State. The match is set for 2:00pm at Centennial Sportsplex.
