NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Bruins return home tomorrow for their last three game OVC conference series of the season with Southeast Missouri starting on Thursday at Rose Park. Make sure to join us on Saturday as we congratulate our 9 graduating seniors.

The Bruins(26-25, 14-12 OVC) enter the weekend after dropping a midweek contest at Middle Tennessee and two of three at Tennessee Tech. Leading at the plate for the Bruins is Drew Ferguson who was jsut named TSWA Player of the week. Ferguson is batting .387 and leads the team with 63 runs, 79 hits, 23 doubles, and 24 stolen bases. Aaron Quillen was named OVC Co-Pitcher of the week for his work on the mound last Saturday. The righty pitched his first complete game 6 hitter with the Bruins and picked up the win on the mound against Tech.
The Redhawks (31-20, 20-7 OVC) enter the weekend after being swept by Indiana St. a non-conference opponent. As a team Southeast Missouri ranks nationally ranking No.8 with .405 On Base Percentage and No.6 in socring percentage.
Leading for the Redhawks statistically at the plate is Trevor Ezell. He is batting .327 and leads the team with 57 runs, 69 hits, and 37 walks, he is also 11-17 on the base path. Redhawk pitcher Jacob Lawrence picked up OVC Co-pitcher honors this past week also for his mid-week start on the mound.
