RICHMOND, Va. – The Belmont men's tennis team posted their second win of the season on Saturday as they defeated Morgan State 3-2 at the VCU 4-1 Invitational in Richmond, Virginia.
After losing the lone doubles match, the Bruins earned wins in three of the four singles matches to clinch the 3-2 victory over the Bears. At number one, junior Cedric Dujacquier blanked Sagar Sathyanarayanan 6-0, 6-0. Then at number three, freshman Adam Rudowski beat Arjun Ramakrishnan 7-6, 6-1, while at position four, Bruno Russo defeated Felix Andre 6-2, 6-2.
Belmont (2-0) wraps up play at the VCU 4-1 Invitational on Sunday morning as they play Howard. The match is set for 7:00am CT.
