GREENWOOD, Ind. – Belmont University men's tennis'
Stefan Vedovelli has been named to the 2026 Academic All-District
® NCAA Division I Team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Announced by the professional organization this past Tuesday, CSC recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America

After primarily playing at No. 5 singles last season, junior Vedovelli competed at the top three singles positions throughout the winter and spring. The Mezzolombardo, Italy, native compiled 12 singles victories throughout the year, including fall tournament play, and went 3-2 at No. 2 singles. Alongside doubles partner
Sabi Roi, Vedovelli went 9-8 at the top of the doubles lineup as the duo put together a 16-12 overall record for the year, including the fall season. The Bruins' No. 1 doubles tandem reached a national ranking of No. 89 on April 21 and was tabbed Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week twice in March.
Majoring in sport administration, Vedovelli holds a 3.51 cumulative grade point average.
