NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team fell to #45 Vanderbilt 4-0 in a non-conference match held indoors Friday afternoon at the Currey Tennis Center in Nashville.
Vanderbilt won the first point of the match as they captured two of the three doubles matches. The Bruins did win the match at number two as Stephen Goldman and Zak Khan beat Baker Newman and Tate Allwardt 7-5.
In singles, the nationally ranked Commodores posted wins at positions three, four, and five to clinch the 4-0 victory. The other three matches were stopped since the match was decided.
Belmont (4-3) returns to the court on March 9 as they host VCU at Centennial Sportsplex.
