NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Belmont women's tennis team fell to Lipscomb 6-0 in a non-conference match played indoors Friday night at the Whitworth Club in Nashville.
The Lady Bisons took the early 1-0 lead as they earned wins at number one and number three doubles. The match at number two was unfinished.
Lipscomb then swept five of the six singles matches to clinch the 6-0 victory over the Bruins. The match at number five singles was not completed since the match result had been determined.
Belmont (2-4) retuns to the court tomorrow as they host Western Kentucky at Brentwood Swim and Tennis Club. The match is set for 6:00pm.
