NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team fell to 0-2 in OVC play as they lost to Tennessee Tech 6-1 in a match played Saturday afternoon at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville.
The Golden Eagles earned the first point of the match as they swept all the doubles matches.
In singles, TTU continued their strong play as they captured five of the six matches. The lone Belmont win came at number two as senior Robin Demasse earned a three set victory over Alberto Esteban 6-4, 2-6, 11-9.
Belmont (4-7, 0-2) is back in action on the court next Friday, March 25 as they host Eastern Kentucky at 12:30pm at Centennial Sportsplex.
