Loss to EIU

CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Belmont women's tennis team fell to Eastern Illinois 7-0 in an OVC match played Friday morning in Charleston, Illinois.

The Panthers earned the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches.  Later in singles, EIU posted wins in all six matches to clinch the 7-0 victory over the Bruins.

Belmont (2-11, 0-4) returns to the court on Saturday as they play at SIUE.  The match is set for 2:30pm on the SIUE campus.
