Saturday Struggle

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team stands in 13th place after the second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship held Saturday on the South Course at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee.

Belmont carded a team score of 299 on Saturday to finish the day in 13th place at 598.  Alabama has the team lead at 550, while Florida is second at 551.

Freshman McCullough Pickens leads the Bruins as he is tied for 41st place at 145.  He posted a 75 on Saturday.  Fellow freshman Nate Thomson is tied for 49th at 147 after carding a 72 in the second round.

Other Belmont scores after 36 holes include: redshirt junior Logan Matthews (T-65, 153), sophomore Daniel Booker (T-68, 154), and sophomore Parker Buck (T-73, 158).

The third and final round begins Sunday morning at 8:00am.  Belmont will tee off from the 10th hole from 9:05-9:45am.
