ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Junior men's golfer
Grant Clark (College Grove, Tenn.) has been named Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Friday.
At last weekend's Peoples Championship, Clark tied for 12
th place out of 121 golfers. He carded rounds of 68-74-68 for a 210 total. His 12
th place finish was his best showing as a Bruin and his rounds of 68 were the lowest of his Belmont career.
As a team, Belmont finished in 11
th place.
Clark earns weekly honors from the MVC for the first time. He is also the first Bruin to win the award since April of 2024.
The men's golf team is back in action next Monday-Wednesday at the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate match play event in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
