NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team is back on the links this Thursday-Saturday at The Peoples Championship in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
BRUIN BITES
- In their last event, the Bruins finished in fourth place at the Gulf Coast Collegiate. Conner Brown and Jack Darke led BU as each tied for seventh place.
- Freshman Charlie Spiller leads the team in scoring with a 72.6 average. Junior Chris Harpum is second at 72.9, while Bown is third at 73.0.
- Brown leads the team in top-10 (3) and top-20 finishes (4).
The People Championship at Sea Palms, hosted by Western Carolina, is a three-day, 54-hole event, with 18 holes contested on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It is being held at the Sea Palms Resort, which will play to a par 71 and a length of 6,664 yards.
The field features 20 teams and includes the likes of host Western Carolina, Tennessee Tech, UT-Martin, Samford, Villanova, and two other MVC teams, Murray State and Valparaiso.
