ALGIERS, La. – The Belmont men's golf team stands in second place after 36 holes of the Gulf Coast Collegiate held Monday at English Turn Golf and Country Club outside New Orleans.
Belmont carded rounds of 305 and 314 to finish the day in second place at 619, eight shots back of the tournament leader, Augusta (611).  St. John's is in third place at 622.
Three Bruins are among the top-15 after two rounds of play. Senior
Conner Brown is in a tie for fifth place at 153 after carding rounds of 74 and 79. He is three back of the individual leader, Maximillian Feistmantl of New Orleans (150).
Junior
Chris Harpum is a shot back of Brown and in a tie for ninth place at 154. He posted identical rounds of 77 on Monday. Fellow junior
Jack Darke shot rounds of 77 and 78 to finish the day tied for 14
th at 155.
Junior
Grant Clark is in a tie for 21
st place at 157, while graduate student
Colin Nasser is tied for 36
th place at 160.
Sophomore
Brennan Cozad, competing as an individual, is tied for 21
st place at 157.
