NASHVILLE, Tenn. –Three Belmont men's golfers,Â
Chris Harpum, Grey Goff, and Jack Darke were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday.  All three have earned the honor for the second consecutive year.Â
Harpum, the reigning MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, has a 3.81 GPA in Business leads the team in scoring at 73.5 and has six top-25 finishes this season.Â
Goff, a native of Lexington, Kentucky who graduated in May with a degree in Accounting, has a 74.1 average and two top-30 finishes this season.Â
Darke, a Cumming, Georgia product, has a 3.767 GPA in Finance. He has a 76.7 scoring average and one top-10 finish this season.
Overall, 11 Belmont men's golfers have garnered the award in the Division I era.Â
To earn Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). He must have participated in at least 75 percent of his team's games during the regular season.
No student-athlete is eligible until he/she has completed one full calendar year at his/her current institution and been on a college roster in that sport for two years. For transfers, graduate students, and two-year college graduates, the student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution to be eligible, although graduate students who are competing at a different institution than the one from which they earned their undergraduate degree are eligible even if they are in their first semester at the graduate institution. Nominees in graduate school must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above both as an undergrad and in grad school.
