Men's Golf Adds Hugh Donegan for the 2026-27 Season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Belmont men's golf team announces the addition of transfer Hugh Donegan for the 2026-27 season.

Donegan comes to Belmont after spending two seasons at West Virginia University.  As a Mountaineer, he redshirted his freshman year and then competed in three events as a sophomore.  He posted a scoring average of 76.75 and his best finish was a tie for 19^th place at The Stono Invitational. 

"Hugh is a great addition to our team," said Daniel DeLuca, Belmont's Head Coach.  "With his talent and playing experience, I believe he will make an immediate impact on this team and help this program to move forward."

During the 2025-26 season, the Bruins played in 12 events and posted four top-five finishes.  Their best finish was a third place showing at the Yestingsmeier Invitational last fall.
