Men's Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

The slate features five new events for the Bruins.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Five new events and trips to Chicago and Pinehurst highlight the 2026-27 Belmont Men's Golf Schedule as announced on Monday.

"I am really pleased how this schedule came together," said Daniel DeLuca, Belmont's head coach.  "We are visiting some familiar spots but there's a number of new events, including one we are hosting in Chicago in October.   All in all, this slate of tournaments will do a great job of developing our team and getting us ready for postseason."

The fall season commences early with the first new event on the schedule, the Augusta Invitational, August 31-September 1, in Augusta, Georgia.  Three weeks later, the Bruins head to Alabama for another new event, the Grahame McDowell Invitational on September 21-22 in Birmingham.

The month of October will be busy as the squad has three events.  It kicks off with the Kemper Lakes Invitational, hosted by Belmont, on October 5-6 in Killdeer, Illinois.  Kemper Lakes hosted the 1989 PGA Championship and numerous other state and national events.  It's the first tournament the Bruins have hosted since the fall of 2007.

The rest of the month includes trips to Georgia for the Pinetree Intercollegiate on October 12-13 and Ohio for the Dayton Invitational on October 19-20.

The spring slate kicks off on February 26-27 at The Peoples Championship on St. Simons Island, Georgia.

Then, the Bruins compete in two events in March.  They head to Pinehurst, North Carolina on March 9-10 for the Donald Ross Collegiate Classic and then play their annual match play tournament, the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate, on March 27-29 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.

The month of April features three tournaments.   They will head west to the Bluff City to compete in the Memphis Intercollegiate on April 5-6, then play in the Austin Peay Inercollegiate on April 12-13 in Clarksville to wrap up the regular season.

The postseason begins on April 25-27 at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship, which will be played at a new venue, Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The Bruins are no stranger to Dalhousie as the program played the 2022 OVC Championship at that venue, where they finished fifth.

If the squad advances to the NCAA Championship, regionals will be held on May 17-19.
