NORMAN, Okla. – The Belmont men's golf team earned the President's Special Recognition Award by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) as the organization announced their academic awards on Wednesday.
To be recognized by the GCAA as an All-Academic Team, teams need to achieve a GPA of 3.0-or-better for the 2025-26 academic year. With Belmont's team GPA being above 3.5, they were among the 155 Division I schools that received the President's Special Recognition.
This marks the 17
th straight year that the program has received this honor.
During the 2025-26 season, the Bruins played in 12 events and posted four top-five finishes. Their best finish was a third place showing at the Yestingsmeier Invitational. In addition,
Chris Harpum was named MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
