Three Men's Golfers Named GCAA All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. – Three Belmont men's golfers: Conner Brown, Grey Goff, and Chris Harpum has been named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf/ Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-America Scholars as the organization announced its individual academic awards earlier this week.   

Brown just graduated from Belmont in May with a degree in Business Administration.  The Shelbyville, Tennessee product ranked second on the team in scoring at 73.9 and had four top-20 finishes.
Goff also recently graduated from Belmont with a degree in Finance.  He posted a 74.1 scoring average and had two top-30 finishes. 

Harpum, the reigning MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, has a 3.81 GPA in Business and led the team in scoring at 73.5 and has six top-25 finishes this season. 

Overall, 17 Bruins have earned this honor during the Division I era. 

To be eligible for GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

649 NCAA Division I athletes from 210 schools earned 2025-26 GCAA All-America Scholar honors.
