LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Belmont men's golf alum and 2024 Hall of Fame Inductee Ashton Van Horne will be the first Bruin in the Division I era to compete in a PGA Tour event when he competes in the ISCO Championship this week in Louisville.
Van Horne, who has competed on the Korn Ferry Tour for the last several years, earned a sponsor's exemption into this week's event in his home state of Kentucky.
For the 2026 season, Ashton ranks 86
th on the Kerry Ferry Tour points list. He has two top-25 finishes this season with his best finish being a tie for fourth at the Astara Golf Championship in Colombia in February.
The ISCO Championship will be held this Thursday-Sunday at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville. This marks the second straight year Louisville and Hurstbourne has hosted the event.
Ashton will begin his first round on Thursday morning at 8:01am CT off the 10
th tee.
