FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team finished in 13th place at the Mason Rudolph Championship held this weekend on the South Course at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee.

On a sunny and warm Sunday in the Midstate, the Bruins shot a 294 in the final round, their lowest of the weekend, to finish in 13th place at 892.  #6 Florida won the team title, nipping Alabama by one stroke 822 to 823.

Belmont was led by freshman McCullough Pickens.  The Sea Island, Georgia native carded a 73 in the final round to finish in a tie for 40th place at 218.  It marked the third time in the last four tournaments that he has been the team's low scorer.

Sophomore Daniel Booker and freshman Nate Thomson tied for 54th place at 223.  Booker posted a two-under par 69 on Sunday, while Thomson shot a 76.

Other Belmont scores from the tournament included: redshirt junior Logan Matthews (T-68, 229) and sophomore Parker Buck (73rd, 235).

Florida's Sam Horsfield earned medalist honors with a 54-hole score of 202.

The men's golf team is back in action on April 10-11 when they compete at the Ryman Intercollegiate at Nashville's Richland Country Club.
