NASHVILLE, Tenn.– The Belmont men's tennis team swept Tennessee State, 7-0, at the Nashboro Village Tennis Center Saturday evening.
In doubles, the Bruins swept all three doubles matches to grab the early 1-0 lead. At the top, Marco Ilic and Joan Valy defeated Stefan Koruga and Leandros Misdrachis 6-2. At two, Hendrik Inno and Zak Khan defeated Maksims Kazijevs and Juan Carlos Rojas Antezana 6-3, while at three Grant Kelly and Jake Briggs won against Larry Sloan and Alberto Gonzalez Raton 6-2.
In singles, BU won all six matches to clinch the victory for the Bruins, extending their win streak to three.
The Bruins conclude their conference season against Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tenn on April 20.
