NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont Softball opens the season in the sunshine state at Florida Gulf Coast University. The Bruins will compete in five contests this weekend against FGCU, Memphis University, and Boston College. The beginning of the 51 game season for the Bruins.
The Bruins will compete in double headers on both Friday and Saturday finishing out the weekend on Sunday with a single game.
Belmont's roster has drastically changed since last season. The Bruins hold 22 players on their roster opposed 16, adding five rookies to the team, one transfer, and losing three.
