JONESBORO, Ark. – The Belmont men's golf team stands in sixth place after 36 holes of the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate held Monday at RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Belmont carded rounds of 285 and 282 on day one to finish the day in sixth place at 567. Host Arkansas State has the team lead at 541, with Jacksonville State in second place at 553.
Two Bruins are among the top-20 after Monday's play. Sophomores
Conner Brown and
Jack Schoenberger are both tied for 18
th place at 140. They each carded rounds of 71 and 69.
Junior Michael Senn is tied for 32
nd place at 143. He shot rounds of 71 and 72.
Freshman
Grey Goff is tied for 37
th place at 144 (72-72), while senior
Reeve Felner is tied for 56
th place at 147 (74-73).
Graduate student
Joe Bultman, competing as an individual, is tied for 78
th place at 152.
