NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's soccer (3-7-7, 2-2-5 MVC) prepares for their final home match of the season tomorrow against Drake (11-3-3, 7-1-1 MVC). The Bruins will honor their eight seniors before the match, as part of the Senior Day festivities. The seniors being honored are
Sarah Doyle,
Taylor Wieland,
Avery Nowak,
Anna Sweeney,
Maci Pekmezian,
Natalie Haverland,
Loren House, and
Riley Casey.
Sunday's match at E.S. Rose Park is the second matchup all-time, and the first in Nashville. Kickoff from E.S. Rose Park is scheduled for 12 p.m. CT. The match will be available to stream on ESPN+. Live stats can be found at

What's Bruin?
- Belmont returns to the MVC Tournament for the second year, after the results from around the league Thursday night.
- Belmont's five goals allowed in conference play is the second-fewest in the MVC.
- Loren House earned MVC Defender of the Week for Oct. 17. She scored her first goal of the season against Valparaiso.
- Belmont is 1-2-3 at home this season.
- Sarah Doyle continues to lead the conference in saves (102) and saves per match (6).
- Doyle is second in the MVC with seven shutouts. Her 17 career shutouts are tied for the most in program history.
- Avery Nowak leads the team with four assists, which is tied for fourth in the MVC.
- Nowak set a new program record against Valparaiso with her 77th career start. She's appeared in 80 matches in her five-year career. With playing time against Drake, Nowak will become the all-time leader in matches played.
- Maci Pekmezian leads the team with five goals and is tied for ninth in the conference. She's scored three goals in conference play.
- Belmont is one point shy of tying last season's conference point total of 12.
Scouting the Bulldogs
- The Bulldogs lead the MVC with a 7-1-1 conference record.
- Drake can claim their seventh MVC regular season title with a win over the Bruins. It would be the Bulldogs' first regular season title since 2017.
- Drake is 3-1-1 on the road this season.
- Freshman Angela Gutierrez leads the team with five assists, tying the program record for most assists by a freshman.
- Gutierrez recorded her fourth MVC Freshman of the Week on Oct. 17.
- Emma Nagel is for a conference-best eight goals scored this season.
