Women's Basketball Signs Trio on National Signing Day

Bruins Welcome Hilary Fuller, Sanaa Tripp and Quinn Eubank

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Head coach Bart Brooks announced Wednesday the signing of Hilary Fuller, Sanaa (suh-NAH) Tripp and Quinn Eubank to the Belmont University women's basketball program for the 2024-25 season and beyond. The trio of highly-talented recruits inked their National Letters of Intent (NLI) on national signing day and will join the Bruins next summer.

Fuller is a 6-foot-2 power forward from Brisbane, Australia, while Tripp is a 5-foot-8 guard from Covington, Georgia, and Eubank a 6-foot combo guard from Union, Kentucky.

"Hilary will be our first international recruit during my time at Belmont and I couldn't be more excited to welcome her into our basketball family," stated coach Brooks. "She brings a tremendous amount of talent, size and skill to our team next year, and she comes from an amazing family. Bruin fans will fall in love with her game, and she will be a great addition to our locker room."

Attending All Hallows' School, Queensland's oldest secondary school, Fuller will arrive in the Music City with a wealth of experience. Playing in the semi-professional NBL1 league run by the National Basketball League, Fuller is a member of the Brisbane Capitals where she saw action in 17 of 19 games last season averaging nearly six points and 4.6 rebounds per outing. She was second on the team in blocks with nearly 1.0 per game.

Fuller played for the Australia FIBA U17 National Team and helped lead her country to gold at the 2023 Oceania Championship in early October. At the 2023 U18 Australian Junior Championships, Fuller starred for Queensland South as she averaged a double-double of 13.5 points and 10.1 rebounds to go with 2.5 steals, 2.1 blocks and 1.5 assists. Currently, she plays for the Basketball Australia Gems U19 national team.

Hilary's older sister, Adelaide, played four seasons of NCAA Division I basketball while her other sister, Audrey, is currently in her third season of Division I basketball.

"Sanaa is a dynamic playmaking guard who has great leadership qualities," commented coach Brooks. "She also comes from a great family and is a proven winner who will immediately impact our program as both a player and teammate. Our fans will love watching Sanaa compete and they will fall in love with her tenacity and motor."

Named Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 7A Freshman of the Year at Newton High School, Tripp collected second-team all-state honors and was named All-Region 4-7A First Team. Last year at Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia, Tripp was tabbed Preseason Class 7A All-State before earning a spot on the All-Region 7-7A First Team. She helped lead the Lady Lions to the 2022 Junior Orange Bowl Basketball Classic title and was selected to the all-tournament team.

Tripp is now back at Newton where she led the Lady Rams to the GHSA Class 7A Elite Eight as a freshman. Playing for Supreme Team of the Under Armour Association (UAA) travel circuit, Tripp took her team to the finals. She is a varsity 1,000-point scorer.

"Quinn is an extremely athletic player who comes from a great family," said coach Brooks. "She is not only physically gifted, but she's an incredibly hard worker with great leadership qualities. Quinn has had a tremendous high school career, and our fans will love cheering for her as a Belmont Bruin."

Prepping at Ryle High School, Eubank has collected 1,321 points and 1,024 rebounds. She averaged 14.3 points and 8.5 rebounds as a junior and was invited to play in the prestigious Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches (KABC) Kentucky-Indiana All-Star basketball series. Helping lead the Lady Raiders to a 24-9 record and a second consecutive 9th Region Tournament championship game appearance, Eubank earned 9th Region All-Tournament Team honors.

A member of the All-9th Region Second Team last season, Eubank was named to the Northern Kentucky Basketball Coaches Association (NKBCA) Division I All-Star Team for the third-straight year. As a freshman, Eubank played an integral role in Ryle's fourth consecutive 33rd District title and was chosen as the tournament's MVP. She was the NKBCA Division I Player of the Year as a sophomore and also picked up All-9th Region Second Team and 33rd District All-Tournament Team accolades. Eubank was an all-state honorable mention pick last year and grabbed a school-record 23 rebounds in a single game during her sophomore campaign.

In travel ball, Eubank plays for Indiana Girls Basketball of the UAA and competed for the Cincinnati Angels 17U team in AAU.

Belmont returns to game action Friday with the Bruins' home opener versus receiving-votes Georgia. Tipoff from the Curb Event Center is set for 6:30 p.m.
