Belmont Inks Seventh 2024 Signee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University women's soccer signed Hailey Westcott earlier this week. Westcott joins Anay Garcia, Ava Labocki, Greta Genie, Reagan Ross, Teagan Downs, and Wagoner Towsen as the newest Bruins.

Westcott is a 5-foot-3-inch midfielder from Mountain View, California. During her time at Mountain View High School, she's helped the Spartans win the League Championship in all four years of her career, back-to-back Central Coast Section Open Division Championships in 2021-2022, and an appearance in the California NorCal State Finals.

The newest Bruin also earned All-League First Team honors the past two seasons.

Wescott played club soccer for MVLA ECNL. Her team appeared in the 2023 ECNL National Playoffs. Her squad will return to national playoffs in 2024 taking place in Redmond, Washington on June 22 – 28.

Both her parents are former collegiate athletes. Her father played baseball at Lee University, and her mother played soccer at Texas A&M University.

Away from the soccer field, Westcott enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her family. Westcott will pursue a degree in sports administration at Belmont starting in the Fall 2024 semester.
